Darwin Award Time

It's Sunday evening, so I am starting to get my brain into "gear" for work.

(DON'T YOU DARE LAFF !!!!! Yeah right.. pass me a glass of wine, no cheese please.)

So thinking about work and its own Darwinian potential, I started linking ideas and thoughts and stuff together to put this blog together. Here it is......

The Darwin Awards are now posted for 2007 . For those who are not aware of what these awards are about, let me quote the website:

(I didn't know there was one until now.)

Named in honor of Charles Darwin, the father of evolution, the Darwin Awards commemorate those who improve our gene pool by removing themselves from it.

Lots of good stuff to read- really makes me think of the things I've seen at work, at times, tooooo many times.

*Oy*

I'd like to share with you a potential nominee for 2008. I call it "What's Wrong with this Picture?"

If I ever catch any of you, my dear readers, doing anything close to this dumb-ass stoopeeed, I'll be at ya' faster than you can say "Oh No !!", with my super deluxe Shillelagh.

Actually, these guys could win the award several times all by themselves. Seems like I haven't been by for awhile and you have been busy posting. Sorry about your cousin Jarrod. I have popped over to Creative Compass and it is certainly a site that I will revisit. Thanks for the heads up on the Darwin Award. As you can see from my latest post, Wham! Blam! Ka-Blam!, I am in the running for this year's award. :)

I read about your adventure :( - I do really hope you are okay & if not, you are looking after yourself.

Hmmmm.. thinking..maybe soap companies should should put hazard symbols on soap.. not the chemical kind, but rather "using soap can be hazardous to your health" :0
