A Father Day's Funny

This isn't about Father's Day, or even a father (maybe he was).....

I was down in the laundry room this morning, waiting for the rinse cycle. To pass the time, I was reading the Spring 2007 edition of " The Pyrates Way" magazine ( www.pyratesway.com or see my side bar and look for "Talk Like a PirateDay").

I came across a little bit of pyrate humour that I wanted to share (ok at 6:30 in the morning, it was funny).

"A pyrate was marooned on a deserted island for 20 years. Finally, he was rescued by another pyrate vessel. As the pyrate was climbing aboard, the ship's captain askes, "Aye mate, but I can't help but notice that ye've built four huts on this isle. Being that yer the only soul here, why did ye need four?" The old pyrate stretched his back and stared down the captain, "The first one be me home. The second one be the church. And the third be where I made m'coconut rum." The captain rubbed his chin, "and the fourth hut, what be that?"

"That's the church I belonged to before I started drinking coconut rum."

AAARRRRRRRR - and a really happy Father's Day to all ye fathers out there !!
