Favourite Music

I was visiting some of my blog friends tonight, taking time to sample some of their favourite music.

One song in particular got me to think to search for this Johnny Cash piece.....

I remember seeing it on MTV, just before June died. Its a sad, poignant, yet beautiful song.

It took me a bit to find the CD it was part of, but I found it. The CD I think was his last and I believe, one of his best.

The entire CD is a favorite listen of mine, which isn't usually the case.

I wonder if he knew it was going to be the last or one of the last in his career - the feeling and emotion are just... I can't describe....

This is the one song of the CD that puts me into another space... I don't know why, but I think it is because this song distills his entire life , in his retrospect, in just 3 minutes or so.

WOW !!!

speaking of country and stuff..

here is a genre I just love ... if anyone wants to buy me music....

(go to the page just to listen to the music and fun !!! :) )

I just love these guys !!!!!

Would love to meet them.. so much !!!!

"twin thongs" Hmmmm. (mind drifting offf...)

Now what was I gonna say? Oh yes, I a one of those who publicly decry the Country and Western genre but hide in the closet that a few of my most favorite of favorite songs started life as country songs. Oh the shame.

LGS - thats thong with a twang *hehehe*

In Johnny's last album, it was the other way around... he did largely covers.

Emma - I have a story about going to Nashville and driving by Johnny Cash's house and property... lets just say that the tour conductor was feeding us a bunch of BS to perhaps some gullible tourists.
