LGS - I don't think they do the duck race here anymore. I used to buy a duck or two, but haven't seen them for "sale" since I've moved back from the other Paradise.
"QUACK"...hmmm... how to explain. It was just in me and had to come out. And it didn't even echo .
Happy belated Easter to you too MSW - I hope yours was well! This photo reminded me of yesterday believe it or not. I was at a home in the country and was driving down a pretty deserted dirt road when out of nowhere I saw the exact picture you posted. A little duck in the middle of the road heading for my truck. I stopped for fear of running it over and it ran under the vehicle into the shade and began quacking like mad. I got out to try to shoo it and was able to pull away without any damage! The worst part of this story, sort of heart wrenching, as I pulled away, in my rear view mirror I could see the little duck chasing my truck, like he was lonely or scared or something. I didn't pick it up though, yet I'm still thinking of it! :(
Me.. a wife of great guy :)
The other "me", by employment, is to be the "Mom" in the workplace. I am often referred to as the "Evil Queen of the Universe", or "She Who Must be Obeyed", when thing don't go your way... but actually a bit lost these days as to who I really am. But this too shall pass.

Oh great - NOW you warn me! I already ate ALL the chocolate & now my cups are...well...overflowing...again!
Hoppy Easter to you too sweetie!
That'll teach ya. Guess now you'll have to do extra stretches to get back to your formfitting self.
Hope you had a goo one yourself.
Okay, I need some cross-cultural assistance here. Quack? Why Quack? What does Quack mean? Could it be that the Ottawa Duck Race is round the corner?
